AI agents often fail in production. They lack security and business context. AWS launched two new services to solve these issues.
AWS Continuum handles code vulnerabilities. It follows a full lifecycle:
- It detects new security flaws.
- It ranks risks based on business impact.
- It tests flaws in isolated environments.
- It suggests fixes like code patches or permission changes.
Continuum uses frontier models like Anthropic Claude Mythos. You can start in learning mode with human approval. You can later switch to enforcement mode for autonomous fixes.
AWS Context provides business intelligence. It builds a knowledge graph from your corporate data. It pulls information from:
- Internal documents.
- Databases.
- APIs.
This graph gives agents a map of your company policies and workflows. Agents query this graph before they act. This reduces errors and false information.
These tools address a major gap. Enterprises need guardrails as they move beyond AI demos. AWS aims to make agents safer and smarter for professional use.
Both services are currently in pilot mode for select customers. Watch for pricing and general availability in the next quarter.
