Paris is now the center of physical AI.

VivaTech 2026 started in Paris. This event shows a major shift. We are moving from chatbots to robots that move and act in the real world.

Key highlights from the event:

  • Unitree Robotics showed their H1 and G1 humanoids. These robots walk and move like humans.
  • HABS and Unitree demonstrated neuro-AI telepathy. A human controlled a robot using only brain signals. There were no wires or headsets.
  • NVIDIA focused on Sovereign AI. They want European nations to build local AI factories. This helps Europe own its own data and hardware.
  • India sent a large group of startups. India is now the third largest AI talent pool globally. They showed AI drones and local language models.

The focus has changed. We are no longer talking about software alone. We are talking about embodied intelligence. This means AI that lives and works next to you.

If the last two years focused on code and text, 2026 focuses on robots.
