Noida International Airport begins its first cargo flight on Wednesday. The flight follows a domestic route. This expansion follows the start of commercial passenger operations earlier this week.

- The site features 19 truck docks and nine X-ray machines.
- Twelve Unit Load Device roller decks support high throughput.
Technology and Logistics:
- The hub uses the IATA E-Freight platform for paperless movement.
- Systems include COSYS+, e-Acceptance, and cargo community platforms.
- Digital tools provide end-to-end live tracking.
- Direct truck access via the Yamuna Expressway speeds up goods movement.
- Warehousing supports e-commerce and freight forwarders.
Project Background:
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the airport on March 28.
- The airport aims to reduce traffic at Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport.
- An IndiGo flight from Lucknow served as the first commercial passenger flight.
