The Indian Navy performed a unique yoga session.
Forty submariners from INS Satvahana practiced yoga beneath the water surface. This event marks the lead up to International Day of Yoga 2026.
The crew showed high levels of breath control and focus. They performed synchronized postures while underwater.
This practice serves several purposes:
- Improves physical fitness
- Builds mental resilience
- Increases emotional balance
- Enhances operational readiness
Yoga helps sailors manage the stress of underwater environments. It combines ancient wisdom with modern military training.
